Our financial system is dramatically changing, and cash is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. We live in a digital world, and national governments and big banks are both encouraging the move away from paper currency and coins. But what would a cashless society mean for our future? Are there any dangers to such a system?

New technology for a cashless society is marching right in step with other moves toward the coming Antichrist world government. We often hear about the “New World Order” and the “Global Governance”–buzzwords that are helping prepare the world for a new international financial and political system, a society controlled by networked computers containing a database of information on nearly everyone–as Revelation chapter 13 appears to have predicted nearly 2,000 years ago!

The switch to electronic commerce has been slow and gradual. People like the speed and convenience of electronic commerce, but they are also comfortable with the way things have been all their lives. For hundreds of years, the world has operated on cash–bills and coins that are tangible and give people a sense of truly possessing. In that respect, the world hasn’t changed much in thousands of years, since coins were first minted. Many people are still uneasy with the idea of a computerized card or chip linking them to their invisible wealth. Cash is still the way, although this is changing rapidly.

Most governments around the world are eager to transition to a cashless society as well for the following reasons.

Cash is expensive to print, inspect, move, store and guard.

Counterfeiting is always going to be a problem as long as paper currency exists. Most of all, a cashless society would give governments more control. Governments would be able to track virtually all financial transactions and would also be able to monitor tax compliance much more closely.

Other factors and developments will also make this new economic system seem necessary. Governments will embrace it as a means of cracking down on crime and cutting government spending by cutting bureaucracy. Businesses will embrace it as a means of instant payment and automated inventory and accounting, cutting their expenses and thereby increasing their profits. The masses will embrace it for its speed, convenience, security, and ease. There will be many apparent advantages.

In Sweden, only about 3 percent of all transactions still involve cash.

About 7 percent of all transactions in the United States are done with cash, and most of those transactions involve very small amounts of money. According to the U.S. government paying with cash in some circumstances is now considered to be “suspicious activity” that needs to be reported to the authorities.

In Italy, all very large cash transactions have been banned. A new limit of approximately $1,300 can be used for cash transactions.

India has launched a nationwide program involving the allocation of a Unique Identification Number (UID) to every single one of its 1.2 billion residents. Each of the numbers will be tied to the biometric data of the recipient using three different forms of information – fingerprints, iris scans, and pictures of the face. All ten digits of the hand will be recorded, and both eyes will be scanned.

Japan, South Korea and Australia have already embraced a cashless society while China, India, Malaysia and Singapore will follow suit.

29% of people in the UK now take out less than 10% of their income in cash.

In Canada, they are looking for ways to even eliminate coins so that people can use alternate forms of payment for all of their transactions.

As the time draws nearer, the coming world government & its eventual leader the Antichrist must speed up the move toward a cashless economy. To do that, he will use crisis after crisis in the nations of the world. One will be a nearly global economic crash–the recession of all recessions. He will use this crash to overcome the inertia of the status quo. Without such radical intervention, people change their ways too slowly to suit his purposes and fit his time frame.

The Antichrist will also prepare the world for it in other ways–through wars, civil disorders, and fears of such things as terrorism and epidemics of new, incurable diseases. All these happenings will make people desperate for change. Eventually they will be ready to toss out the old and embrace the new.

The Antichrist will eventually introduce a new economic system, whereby he will profess to fix the world’s economic woes. Those who want to be a part of his new economy and society will be compelled to receive the “666 mark of the Beast” in their right hand or forehead–possibly in the form of a tiny computerized chip bearing all their personal, financial, and medical information. Big Brother and the New World Order will thereby be able to monitor everyone’s every move.

Implantable RFID microchips can be used to make financial identification more secure. The use of RFID chips in animals and in humans is rapidly spreading. Some U.S. cities have already made it mandatory to implant microchips into all cats and all dogs so that they can be tracked. In Hungary it’s a law that all dogs must be chipped.

All over the United States, employees are being required to carry badges that contain RFID chips, and in some instances employers are actually requiring employees to have RFID chips injected into their bodies. Increasingly, RFID chips are being implanted in the upper arm of patients that have Alzheimer’s disease. The idea is that this helps health care providers track Alzheimer’s patients that get lost.

In some countries, microchips are now actually being embedded into school uniforms to make sure that students don’t skip school. In a San Antonio, Texas School a 14 year old girl was expelled because she refused to wear a mandatory RFID Chip tag around her neck. Stating it was a precursor to the Mark of the Beast & against her religious beliefs quoting Revelation 13:16-18. She took this to court & lost the court case so she has to go to another school, which doesn’t require RFID Chip tags around her neck.

Can you see where all of this is headed? Would you get an “RFID tattoo” if the government or your bank asked you to?

Some people out there are actually quite excited about these new technologies. Some companies are even developing RFID technologies that do not require an injection.

One company called Somark has developed chip less RFID ink that is applied directly to the skin of an animal or a human. These “RFID tattoos” are applied in about 10 seconds using micro-needles and a reusable applicator, and they can be read by an RFID reader from up to four feet away.

One thing is certain: A global cashless economy and a totally monitored and controlled society are in the making. Fiber optics, satellites, and computer databases have the potential to control the world in a way that boggles the imagination..

“[The Antichrist’s government] causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on [or in] their right hand or on [in] their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17).
